Bedford County Rabies Clinics held  Saturday,  June 14th

Clinics will be open at the following locations and times:

    * Riverside Veterinary Hospital, 7050 E. Lynchburg-Salem Turnpike in Goode, from 1 to 3 p.m.

    * Bedford Animal Hospital, 1064 Centerville Road in Bedford, from 10 a.m. to noon

    * Big Island Rescue Squad, 10961 Lee Jackson Highway in Big Island, from 11 a.m. to noon

    * Huddleston Volunteer Fire Department, 5377 Smith Mountain Lake Parkway in Huddleston, from 2 to 4 p.m.

    * Staunton River Veterinary Clinic, 1037 Lipscomb Road in Moneta, from noon to 2 p.m.

    * Boonsboro Volunteer Fire and Rescue Co., 1065 Lee Jackson Highway in Lynchburg, from 10 a.m. to noon

St. Patrick's Day Irish Festival

March 17, 2008.

The Irish Festival is from 6:00 to 9:00.

$50 per person, includes dinner and two drinks.

This popular "wearin' of the green" Lynchburg party comes to the Academy for the first time, compliments of the Lynchburg Rotary Club. It's all Irish from music to food to drink to good cheer to great generosity in support of Salvation Army, Bone Marrow Project, Smoke Detector Project, Re-building Together, Polio Plus, Shelter Box for Disasters, Youth Leadership Awards and the Academy of Fine Arts.
